Spiritual Leadership

As a community, we are guided by and connected to Unity Worldwide Ministries through our spiritual leadership team.

Rev. Anne is an ordained Unity minister currently serving as the Minister-of-Record for Unity Center of Norwalk and in the alternative ministry Heart Centered Living located in northeast Georgia.

Anne engages her spiritual gifts of creativity and teaching to develop and provide classes and workshops. Her prayer consciousness enables her to lead and facilitate study groups and support individuals with spiritual counseling. Her unique skills in business project management (learned from many years of management in the technology industry) give her a strong foundation in coordinating and facilitating sacred service projects.

Prior to serving at Heart Centered Living, Rev. Anne was the Community Care Coordinator and Licensed Unity Teacher for First Unity Church of St. Louis in Missouri. In this role, she used her empathic wisdom and insight to care for community members, support healthy relationships, and nurture a sense of belonging. Anne’s passion for supporting others in their spiritual journey created an environment of spiritual connection and growth at First Unity Church of St. Louis.

Before answering the call to ministry, Anne served as the Music Director at First Unity Church of St. Louis for 14 years. During this time, she started and developed an adult choir and a handbell choir that enriched the Sunday service experience. The ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, said, “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” This quote describes why Anne is passionate about music that needs to be an integral part of human interactions.

Rev. Anne’s vision is to empower people to embrace their spiritual identity and use practical, spiritual principles to lead fulfilling and purpose-filled lives. Rather than tell you what to do or believe, Rev. Anne journeys with you as you realize and embrace your innate wisdom, strength, and creativity.
