Living From the Super-consciousness
"Have You Counted Your Blessings Lately?"
Let’s see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…..infinite.
I have a lot of blessings, how about you? However, they are only blessings if I think they are. So many of us don’t even notice our blessings. Blessings aren’t always shiny.
When I began my healing journey, I was told to give thanks for any and all signs of improvement in my life. I did. And because I did, I began to see more and more improvements in my thinking and in my physical world. The more I blessed the more blessings multiplied.
Just noticing the blessings weren’t enough. If they had, then the blessings themselves would have been the source of my Good and become an object of worship. I needed to find out more about the source of my blessings. It turns out that God is the Source of my blessings and that my thinking is the cause of my blessings.
Yes, the degree of my blessings isn’t about a lack of God, but where my thinking is directed. As I broadened my spiritual thinking I found out that there are no thoughts that I “should” think about anything. I can choose my thoughts. I prefer to choose with the Highest Voice within me. I do that by going within and asking, “What are the highest thoughts I can think about this now?” I don’t always like the answer I get, but I know I have been told the Truth because I asked. Then I look into my willingness to think the thoughts as I have been guided. I am always guided for the best and highest thoughts to think about myself and all beings. I don’t always follow the guidance, but I am always guided. When I choose less than the highest, I seem to miss out on my infinite blessings.
I know some that will say, “Fine! Then I’ll miss out, I’d rather be mad.” Okay, but then, do you really have the right to complain about anything? You chose, just as I have chosen. If we choose to follow the guidance of Spirit, we really don’t have anything to complain about.
Go within and ask what thoughts to think about everything and then realize that you are choosing the highest thinking and therefore the highest blessings. Yay!
All the Best Blessings for Today,
Rev. Shawn
