I read this piece of advice and it reminded me of our “Sacred Exchange of Abundance.” Whenever we receive, we need to give back so that the flow is ongoing. It’s not about “how much” or even what you give. It is the attitude with which our good is both received and given.
For some, it is a very nerve-wracking choice to give. There is a reason for that. It is because you have not received with gratitude. When one spends their life receiving in gratitude, one gives gratefully. If one receives in shame or anger, one cannot understand the art of sacred exchange. Those are the people who think I’m writing this to get money for the Church. This is not a fundraising letter. This is an educational message for those who have skepticism about receiving and giving.
For us, it all started by receiving. If we hadn’t received, we wouldn’t have had anything to give. It’s the same today. If we don’t receive, we don’t have anything to give. Ten percent of nothing is nothing. The issue comes in when we take in something and we call it “nothing.” Something can never be nothing and calling it “nothing” will never increase it; and I’m pretty sure we all want to increase our something.
As we move forward, let’s consider what we take from this earth and its inhabitants. Are we taking food, love, blessings, information? We wouldn’t leave a restaurant with out an exchange, let’s make sure we are leaving something for all we receive and are calling both Good.
Let’s affirm together, “The Superconscious Mind is awake in me now!”
